2 min read

Taraba man threatened to kill Emmanuel Bello’s politicacl areer in Southern Taraba state.

It all started when the former commissioner of info and culture responded to a post on facebook. The poster accused core Northern Muslims of voting base on religious sentiment.

“The core Muslims north do not vote base on performance, they voted their own flesh and blood and he that would promote their religion” he posted

The poster claimed the northerners voted someone who they believed can promote their religion Islam and not because the person is capable.

Hence, Emma Bello reacted by asking how Taraba state governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has promoted Christianity in the state.

“how has DDI promoted Christianity in Taraba” Asked Honorable Emma Bello

The above question by the ex commissioner angered someone called Daniel D. Who then threatened to kill Bello’s political career in southern Taraba.

“You’re a traitor, we’re going to bury your political career southern Taraba” Daniel D Nwunuji replied.

Emmanuel Bello was the commissioner of information and culture under ex governor Danbaba Danfulani Suntai who died after surviving an helicopter crash.

Bello was also an aide to the present governor of Taraba state, Architect Darius Dickson Ishaku. But he resigned his appointment with the governor on December last year.

Emma Bello is very controversial  politician… After his resignation as the aide on public affairs to the governor he taunted and accused the governor of not performing well.

He described Governor Darius’ administration as a clog in one his post on facebook which went viral on social media in the state.
